eStoria Festival: Walk of Peace – From the Horrors of World War I to a Story of Coexistence and Respect

Slovenian and Italian experts will analyze the religions that coexisted in the areas affected by World War I between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea: Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, and Islam. The church in Javorca, the Russian chapel below Vršič, the mosque in Log pod Mangartom, the Austro-Hungarian cemetery in Trieste, and the ossuary in Timavo will be presented as symbols of remembrance, faith, and reconciliation among nations.
