Prešeren Day, Slovenia's most important cultural holiday, is now also the anniversary of the inauguration of the first cross-border European Capital of Culture. This year, we will once again celebrate the holiday in Nova Gorica and Gorizia with a rich cultural program:

• 12.00: Traditional recital of Prešeren’s poetry and exhibition of 3D portraits created at Xcenter –Bevkov trg, Nova Gorica 
• 13.00: Opening of the photographic exhibition by Pierluigi Bumbaca: GO! 2025 through the lens – GO! Center, Gorizia 
• 14.00: Guided tour of the urban development and history of Nova Gorica with Blaž Kosovel – starting point: Xcenter, Nova Gorica 
• 14.30: City on the Border – guided tour of the exhibition, EPICenter, Nova Gorica 
• 16.00: GO! 2025 Legacy – round table EPICenter, Nova Gorica 
• 17.00: MN Dance Company – dance performance, EPICenter, Nova Gorica 
• 17.30: Jernej Humar: GO! WITH THE FLOW – opening of the photography exhibition, EPIC Gallery, Nova Gorica
