Translating Cultures – Cultures of Translation

Last week, the EPICentre in Nova Gorica hosted the 33rd meeting of the Eurozine network of cultural journals, held from 7 to 9 November 2025. Co-Mesto knjigeis year by the magazine Razpotja, the event brought together more than 60 representatives of leading cultural journals from across Europe, opening a dialogue on how translation shapes culture and meaning.
The conference opened with a keynote by renowned American historian Marci Shore, with contributions from Erica Johnson Debeljak, Katarina Botanova, Florian Cramer, Hamit Bozarslan and Stefano Bottoni.
