Pram walks – exercise and socialising for parents from all over Slovenia
As part of European Mobility Week, we invite you to ‘Vozičkanje’ – an all-day event for parents with babies and toddlers. This is a day when we’ll allow ourselves to be active, playful and chatty, moving around together, pushing prams, meeting new people and spending quality time with our families. You’re welcome to bring pushchairs, baby carriers or baby slings – the pace will be adapted to suit all participants. The route will also be suitable for parents with reduced mobility and/or sensory challenges. The group walk – ‘Vozičkanje’ – will be led by Anja Suska and Rok Peric.
The event is organised by Mladinski center Nova Gorica, Center za krepitev zdravja Zdravstveni dom Nova Gorica, Goriška knjižnica Franceta Bevka in Mestna občina Nova Gorica.
What’s in store for you?
* Group walk ‘Stroll with pushchairs’
* A swap shop for children’s toys, books and clothes: bring along items your children no longer use and swap them for something that will come in handy for another family.
* Yoga for parents with babies and toddlers.
* Story time for the little ones: a storyteller from the France Bevk Library in Goriška will take the little ones on a journey into the world of stories and imagination.
* A library under the trees.
* A fair featuring providers of services, equipment, products and activities for babies, toddlers and their parents.
* Street artists’ festival: in the afternoon, street performers and artists will liven up the event.

Note: The event will take place whatever the weather. The programme will be adjusted if necessary in the event of rain.
