LIGHT THE FUTURE: A Collective Vision of a City Without Borders

On Saturday, 24 October, the closing event of the LIGHT THE FUTURE project took place at EPICenter. The project was implemented by Centro aiku – Arte Impresa Cultura (Fondazione Università Ca’ Foscari) and Zavod ROR. Through light art, projections and multimedia approaches, it presented young artists’ creative visions of a city without borders.Visitors had the opportunity to discover works created during four artistic workshops led by international artists Lumenartist, Hermes Mangialardo, Claudia Reh and Lumoskop_lab. By exploring light and new forms of artistic expression, the young participants reflected on borders, shared spaces and the connection between Nova Gorica and Gorizia. The light installations came to life inside the EPIC hall, on the façade and exterior frontage of EPICenter, and at the Super 8.

The LIGHT THE FUTURE project is funded by the European Union through the SPF GO! 2025 programme, Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia 2021–2027, managed by EGTC GO.
