Publication accompanying the exhibition A City on the Border

We are pleased to present the newly released exhibition publication A City on the Border. Edited by Dr. Kaja Širok, the publication brings together a broader range of perspectives from the people of Gorizia and Nova Gorica on life along the border, cooperation, and the contribution to the European Capital of Culture. The publication complements the exhibition A City on the Border and offers new reflections, memories, and perspectives on the border area and its multilayered history

.The upcoming event in the series Encounters with the Past – when objects and stories come to life, will be dedicated to the first public presentation of the publication. We warmly invite you to join us on Wednesday, 3 June, at 5 pm at the EPICenter for this occasion.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, 23 May 2026, the publication will also be available for purchase at the EPICenter and at Knjigarna kavarna Maks.
