On Friday, 11 September, Dr Mirt Komel led the first guided tour in the Stories of the Border series through the exhibition City on the Border. The Gorizia Region in the 20th Century. He presented the exhibition in his own way, through his perspective, knowledge and view of the region and its stories.Stories of the Border offers a different perspective on the exhibition each time. A region shaped by changing borders and political systems, migration, conflicts and different collective memories holds countless stories. Each guest brings their own – their knowledge, experiences and perspective. In this way, the same exhibition takes on a new character with each storyteller and opens up different ways of understanding the Gorizia region.Thank you to Dr Mirt Komel for his perspective and his way of storytelling, through which he presented the exhibition to visitors through his own interpretation.
