City on the Border Permanent Exhibition

The aim of the City on the Border participatory exhibition is to create a participatory platform and by bringing together different generations, to encourage dialogue and understanding. By asking questions and searching for answers, EPIC strives to foster a sense of belonging and encourage visitors to take an active role in shaping collective identity. This is how we build bridges between the past, the present and the future and contribute to a more inclusive and united community— one that works towards the sustainable development of the border region and a better future.

The permanent exhibition City on the Border is continuously enriched by the stories we collect together.

The exhibition is built on personal memories, testimonies and materials that reflect life along the border and contribute to shaping a shared cross-border narrative.

Every first Wednesday of the month, from 4 to 6 PM, stories and materials are collected at the EPIC Café.

The exhibition also features an open cross-border memory drop-off point, where written accounts, photographs or other materials can be submitted at any time, contributing to a deeper understanding of our shared history and everyday life on both sides of the border.

In this way, the exhibition remains an open and evolving space of collective memory.
