We are delighted to announce that on Saturday, May 9, at 8:00 p.m., we will once again be screening the documentary essay "Ne pozabi me / Non ti scordar di me" (2025) by Anja Medved and Nadja Velušček, which we first presented exactly one year ago as part of the official program of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorica, on the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory over Nazism and Fascism. The film reveals the past of the Gorizia region as reflected in family photographs and film footage. The memories of the oldest residents on both sides of the border, who were children or teenagers during World War II, weave a narrative of the division of what was once a shared space and hold up a mirror to our collective amnesia. The film was produced by KINOkašča/CINEMattic.
